The Torrance Art Museum Offers Free Parking on Sundays
The Torrance Art Museum offers free parking on Sundays from 2 PM to 6 PM. During this time, visitors are encouraged to park their cars in any of the surrounding lots and walk to the museum. Visitors who wish to park their cars in the museum’s own parking lot on Sundays may do so for free. Cars allowed in the museum’s parking lot on Sundays during the above-mentioned time are those with handicap stickers or placards. The museum offers a discount parking deal for members of the U.S. military. Members of the military are allowed to park their cars in the museum’s parking lot on Sundays for $1 (normally, the price of parking is $2). The Torrance Art Museum also offers free parking on other domestic holidays.
Donate to the Torrance Art Museum
The Torrance Art Museum welcomes donations from both the public and private sectors. The museum is currently accepting donations for its 50th-anniversary exhibition. The exhibition is tentatively titled “In Conversation: 50 Years of Art in Torrance.” The museum is also accepting donations for its upcoming exhibition “Trees: From Seed to Silhouette.” The exhibition will feature a collection of contemporary artworks featuring the influence of trees on modern culture.
