‍The Aquarium of the Pacific California is a fun and educational place for families to visit. This aquarium is home to many unique and interesting animals. There is even a touch pool where guests can get up close to stingrays and sharks. If you’re visiting during feeding time, you can pet these gentle animals. There are also several exhibits on land, including a collection of colorful birds from Australia.

The Aquarium is committed to being environmentally friendly. It has worked to reduce the amount of plastic bottles used in its exhibits and converted all lighting to LED. The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums in the nation. It has over 12,500 animals on display in 50 exhibits. The Aquarium of the Pacific has several galleries, each with a unique theme that helps visitors learn more about different parts of the Pacific Ocean. The aquarium’s main galleries are dedicated to the tropical and temperate regions of the Pacific Ocean.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is divided into three sections. There is a Southern California/Baja Gallery and a Northern Pacific Gallery. The Southern California/Baja Gallery features a three-story tank with marine life from Catalina Island. There are also displays featuring kelp forests, ray touch pools, and seal habitats. There are also galleries dedicated to birds and jellyfish.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is located near the Long Beach Cruise Terminal. Visitors can walk to the aquarium in about 10 minutes. It is also serviced by the Long Beach Transit Passport bus. The Aquarium is located on the northeast corner of Ocean and Pine Boulevards. If you purchase your ticket online, you will be able to receive it instantly after purchase. The Aquarium features three main galleries and several outdoor exhibits. The Shark Lagoon is interactive. During the winter, the Aquarium also offers a variety of camps for young children. Young children can attend the Sea Squirt Winter Day Camp or the Winter Teen Overnight Program. Both camps include hands-on activities. The students will explore the sea life, visit behind-the-scenes areas, and get a chance to meet and feed Aquarium animals. A number of topics are covered during the Winter Day Camp, such as the lives of penguins and polar bears.
